Job Description

Our client, a well-established company, is looking for an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain stock records.
• Implement and enforce safety and security procedures in the warehouse.
• Liaise with other departments, such as transport, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Good computer skills (e.g., experience with inventory management software or MS Excel).
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• A focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• A valid forklift licence would be an advantage.
• A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or business management is preferred but not essential.
