The University seeks to recruit suitably qualified individual for the position of Lecturer – Pathology.
Responsibilities;
1. Prepare lesson plans
2. Use current media to teach
3. Plan and execute teaching efficiently in the training/teaching of residents
and medical students
4. OverseeHisto/cytopathology service department/laboratory
5. Conduct gross examinations and provide anatomical pathology services as needed (postmortem)
6. Ensure the proper handling of all samples
7. Examine all samples as requested, conducting all necessary tests accurately
8. Provide thorough written evaluation and diagnosis for each case
9. Participate at some level in ongoing research and development by Write and carry out research
10. Work collaboratively with other physicians and laboratory staff
11. Attend all required trainings and conferences
12. Maintain compliance with all legal and institutional requirements at all times.
Educational Qualification;
Masters Degree in Pathology
PhD in the area of interest an added advantage.
Experience;
3 -5 years lecturing experience
