The Required Skills for this Role Include:
Hardware installation, which includes repair/replacement of faulty IT equipment.
Software installation, which includes installation of Operating Systems, Alien, MS-office, and other remote support tools (e.g. Any Desk and Team Viewer).
Repair and maintenance of computer hardware such as Computers, Printers, CCTV devices (Cameras and DVRs), and the point of sales managed by the IT department for Kitwe Processing Plant and retail shops in the northern region.
Training of staff on the functionalities of computer systems applications.
Installation of IT Equipment in new stores, which includes installation and wiring of backup power, mounting and configuration of point of sales, etc.
Installation and configuration of PABX/IP phones, PIN additions etc.
Anti-virus administration by ensuring that all workstations are secure by running updated Antiviruses.
CCTV installation involving mounting of cameras, DVR configurations, and ensuring that the CCTV equipment is working properly.
Cable management, which is the proper running of cables managed by the IT department, which are usually network cables.
