A company in the hospitality industry, specialising in conferencing, events, restaurants and rooms, is looking to hire an Internal Auditor.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and executing the internal audit work
Key Performance Areas
1. Develop and implement Annual Internal Audit Plans.
2. Assess areas of significant business risk including coordination of quarterly risk reporting.
3. Reduce business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
4. Conduct daily Revenue Audits
5. Implement best audit and business practices
Qualifications
a) Degree in Internal Audit or Finance or equivalent, plus a professional accounting qualification
b) ZICA Membership.
c) Membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors an added advantage
Work Experience
a) At least five (5) years of relevant work experience;
b) Three (3) years’ work experience in an internal audit environment, with some experience in fraud auditing.
c) Experience in similar companies will be advantage;

a) Accounting skills.
b) Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
c) Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
d) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
e) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
f) Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed contract, renewable subject to performance. On offer is an attractive remuneration package which is competitive with similar companies.
