Human Resource Manager (1)

Agro Fuel Group seeks the services of an experienced Human Resource Manager to manage its human capital of approximately 250 employees.  The successful; candidate will be responsible for the:

• Management of employee relations and staff welfare activities
• Management of the recruitment process
• Create employment polices and conduct a periodic review of the policies in line with company needs
• Provide direction and advice to staff, line managers and Directors on Human Resource work-related issues.
• Monitor staff attendance, and leave days
• Manage performance of employees in conjunction with line managers
• Ensure compliance with Zambian Labour laws and other statutory requirements
• Administration of disciplinary proceedings
• Plan and coordinate training and capacity development activities for staff
• Ensure compliance of employee health and safety requirements
• Provide periodic reports to Management of Human Resource activities
• Close liaison with senior management on all aspects of HR/employee relations
• Creation of staff handbook

Interested candidates must have the following: –

• Grade 12 certificate
• A degree in Human Resource Management or related field
• At least 10 years relevant work experience, 5 of which should be at managerial level
• A paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
