JOB OPPORTUNITY – CONTRACTS MANAGER
(Multi-Storey Building Construction Project)
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Contracts Manager to join a dynamic construction team working on multi-storied building projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong contractual, technical, and project management expertise.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
Fully paid-up member for 2026 of any of the following professional bodies:
Engineering Institution of Zambia with a valid practising licence from the Engineers’ Registration Board of Zambia
Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA)
Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ZIQS)
Minimum of ten (10) years’ overall professional experience.
At least eight (8) years’ proven experience in multi-storied building construction projects.
Demonstrated experience in contract administration, project coordination, and stakeholder management.
Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
Manage project budgets, variations, claims, and cost control processes.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout project execution.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and review contractual documentation and reports.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
