PURPOSE

The Clerk, Planning will be responsible for routine administrative tasks requiring clerical skills, public relations, research and must be able to work with minimum supervision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The suitable candidate will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
Data capturing
Update daily, weekly and monthly reports
Ensuring work orders are opened with correct work order integrity i.e. status, dates, codes, labour, labour hours, downtime, descriptions, safety notes, serial numbers in, sales order status.
Creation of purchase requisitions as need be
Sales Order processing
SOS sample entry and dispatching
Filing and archiving of planning records
Maintaining a decent work environment and culture at all times.
Any other relevant work as stipulated by direct supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a Grade Twelve (Grade 12) School Certificate

EXPERIENCE

Experience in Excel will be an added advantage
