Position Overview: As a Carpenter, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the facilities and production operations by providing expert carpentry services and maintaining the infrastructure to the highest standards.

The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks to support the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities and equipment within our beverage production facilities. From building and installing structures to repairing fixtures and conducting renovations, you'll apply your carpentry skills to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction and Installation:

• Construct, install, and repair structures, fixtures, and furnishings within our production facilities, including walls, partitions, shelves, and cabinets, using a variety of carpentry tools and techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate measurements, materials selection, and construction methods for carpentry projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute carpentry projects according to schedule and budget requirements

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on carpentry structures and fixtures, such as inspecting for damage, repairing or replacing components, and applying finishes or sealants to protect against wear and deterioration.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests or work orders related to carpentry issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.

• Assist in planning and executing renovation or remodeling projects within our production facilities, including layout changes, space optimization, and aesthetic improvements.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors as needed to ensure smooth progress and timely completion of renovation projects, adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the process.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards for building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations, including maintaining documentation and permits as required.

• Maintain accurate records of carpentry work performed, including work orders, material usage, and maintenance logs, to track progress and ensure accountability.
• Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel promptly and take corrective action as needed to address concerns.

Qualifications:

• Craft Certificate or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in carpentry preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience is desired in carpentry, construction, or building maintenance, with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects accurately.
• Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship and finishes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across different departments.
