Salary: K3,000.00

Responsibilities:

• Should be able to work with fondant ,perfect creaming skills using fino whip and buttercream
• Bake and decorate cakes according to customer specifications
• Ensure consistency and quality in every cake
• Develop new and creative cake designs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Oversee and manage the baking team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
• Train new bakers and decorators, and provide on-going support and development for existing staff.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet the bakery's standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with management to develop and update the bakery's menu, incorporating seasonal and popular items.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Ensure the team follows all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and manage production costs, including labour, ingredients, and equipment.
• Prepare reports on production, sales, and inventory for management review.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cake Baker or Pastry Chef
• Strong knowledge of baking and decorating techniques
• Creative and artistic skills
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
