Job Description

Some of the tasks for this position include the following:

• Maintaining all Sales Reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
• Reviewing Sales Report data for accuracy and reasonability
• Compiling of weekly Sales Report Pack to Management
•  Handling Sales integration between Sales module and the Accounting system
• Preparation of Customer Account reconciliations
• Assisting with Customer and Retailer accounts and follow up of unpaid invoices
• Assisting with monthly stock counts and stock reconciliations
• Preparation of Balance Sheet General Ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with preparation of monthly Management Accounts
• Assisting with any company tax and/or statutory return submissions
• Handling year-end audit queries from Auditors
• Reconciliation of any Intercompany Customer, Supplier & Loan Accounts
• Any other ad hoc tasks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Must be computer literate with practical knowledge in M/S – Applications i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work under pressure and be deadline– driven
• Strong communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• High degree of accuracy
• Good mathematical skills

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Atleast Diploma In Accounting, ACCA Level 2 and ZICA Level 2.
• At least 1 years work experience. 
• Proficient in Sage Accounting Software.
• Web-based Point-of-Sale Software experience will be advantageous.
• Must be computer literate with advanced skills in MS -Applications i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
